High Roller Casino is the most hyper realistic pinball game.

I know a lot of people may argue with me, but High Roller Casino is hyper realistic, a masterpiece of a table, and probably one of the best tables out there. My reasoning; it is just like visiting the casino, the odds are stacked against you and you will lose, and lose often. It is not really enjoyable, just like a real casino, and you get that real life feeling of desperation trying to play this table. My only complaint is that it doesn't have an alternate path for the ball launch which drains the ball right from the start. Just like in Jane Austen's Mafia!, the smart ones just mail their money in.

Working in a casino the last 10 years or so and just off of playing high roller casino myself, I tend to agree with you. Except once in awhile, it's fun to play and take a chance.

Yay, someone who agrees with me!

I enjoy this table because of the depth of its rules, lots of fun Multiballs to go after and some solid modes. In fact summer 2014 was an awesome time for digital pinball. At the same time this table was released Deadpool was released for Zen Pinball 2, which I still play often to this day. HRC holds a position on my top 15 machines of all time and I'm considering owning an actual copy.

Definitely one of my favorite tables..very challenging, but love how the gambling integrates so well into the table and when it comes together its so very fun.

I wouldn't say it is a bad table in practice, but in the Pinball Arcade version, just like White Water, the balls drain faster than a (joke about self abuse). It ruins the depth of play when you can't progress because of the structure of the table.

Anyone have a solid strategy on how to collect the extra ball when lit? Right now it's pure luck and it drives me crazy. Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks. R

If you trap the ball on the left flipper and then try and shoot the right orbit the ball will usually hit the target where extra ball is lit.

That is my usual strategy, especially considering the right orbit is ridiculously hard to hit from a trap. Might as well get something out of the missed shot. Just seeing if the extra ball target is lit is hard enough, although it is pretty well hidden on the real table as well.

Try shooting the right orbit when:
- you have a ball trapped on the right flipper and the right-most poker card is down. It seems like an impossible shot but it can be made fairly easy
- my favorite way to shoot it is by flipper passing a ball from right to left flipper when returning from the lock ramp, wait a millisecond and then shoot it
Both shots need a bit of precision but with a miss, you'll have an automatic chance to hit that extra ball target

Thanks for the tips. I have managed to get the first suggestion down on PS4 with reasonable accuracy; it is a tight backhand but it does work. I'm not entirely sure what you mean by the second suggestion. The lock shot returns to the left flipper on PS4 and can be dead passed over to the right safely. Are you suggesting a post pass back to the left? I managed to get that to work a couple of times, but I find at least on PS4 post passes are fairly tricky. Seems to require a later flip than most tables. I'm still having my best luck shooting the right orbit on the fly after coming down the left inlane, although I'd love not having to rely on that.

That method works on PC too. (from the lock eject, hold pass right-to-left, don't try to catch, just shoot.) Not super reliable, maybe 30%. But it's better than the 0% of a set shot.
