high score not recorded

I achieved an in-game highest score, and entered my initials. At the end of the game, the backglass cycles between 9,999,999 and 2,671,450 (the seven least-significant digits of my eight-digit score) and it showed 7 credits.

But both the backglass attract and the Farsight highest scores tab did not retain the high score.
