How to play new tournament?

Late August Tournament, once I enter the tournament, I get a list of the 8 tables in a menu, but I can't select any to play? I get the click feedback the table has been selected but it doesn't start, sometimes the table icon gets a blue box around it, but still doesn't play.

Kindle fire 10, version 2_01.1, tried to update but none available.
