Thanks Brakel. I hoped that the ps4 would get the portrait view too.
I wouldn't count on it.
I emailed them back in 2008 for the possibility to have it added to The Williams Pinball Hall of Fame on the PS3 and was told they don't think they can add it because of concerns people might damage their displays trying to turn them on their sides.
Which sucks because I have two beautiful 24" 1080p displays on 180' rotating stands which I really want to use.
Anyway, I think I replied about how the Dreamcast had some games with "tate mode" options such as Mars Matrix and Ikaruga, but they never replied.
The newest Capcom Arcade Cabinet collection on PSN also lets you rotate every game too, so I don't think that excuse holds much water.
As far as what's different from the PS3 version, from what I've personally seen on various videos and screen shots the table scan graphics appear to be the same. The lighting and table physics are improved.
I'd like to see cleaner table scans closer to what you'd see on a real table.
