Here's the one thing I like about Gottlieb tables...they make me LOVE Williams / Bally all the more!!

I have a season pass, so I don't even get to mull over if I plan on buying something. Then again, all it takes is a tournament to start up and I'll buy whatever table I don't have so I can play. Ultimately that rules any decision making on my part. And yes, sometimes I've been surprised by one of these tables I thought for sure I'd hate. Though not often.

And to anyone who likes Skrillex: check out Savant!!! My fav track is Ninür, fav album is Alchemist. Give it a try and throw some money at Aleksander, he is a true musical genius.

Free your mind, h, and the rest will follow! ;P

Oh, and Marc, I'd miss your high quality rants. They are entertaining reads and make at least some sense mostly. ;)

Before you judge and say I'm an egomaniac. Just want to put it into this perspective...

Let me help, I've never read a post of yours before today, so your input had no sway on my buying decision what so ever.

That said, if I did not have a season 2 pass I would have never bought this pack, "Going Nuts"? really? There is a reason it never went into production in real life.

I can do you one better. I HAVE read his stuff, and I still bought everything.

I don't know about you guys but I personally have actually held off buying any tables in TPA until I can buy them on Steam. I don't think I'm alone in that necessarily but it has definitely been difficult to see these tables and not really play them.

I've bought every pack so far. Mark's opinion did not matter to me either.

The Goin' Nuts pack sales were abysmal because it simply was not interesting compared to all the amazing packs that have come out previously.

For all the hype of Skrillex, Breakcore is where it's at for poly-rhythmic variety and the merging of different genres without it sounding like the cast off detritus of every existing genre; unlike Brostep, IMO.

Time to head to the music thread to infect people with some some Bong-ra, Enduser and Sickboy and whatnot! \m/

He just played here last week, drunk as hell, didn't want to go on stage, played for 1½ hours anyway, messed up some mixes, but it was fun :) Less than 50 people there.

D'you like Skrillex because you've never actually heard Dub Step?

Right, I've starred this thread just to remind me to review your links. I am fond of Savant for my dubstep fix. New music is important.

Skrillex and Savant are typical electro artists that have adapted some of dubstep's sound, like a lot of other music has recently, as they are elements that go well together with other stuff. The result is typically refered to as "bro-step" as a joke, but it's a pretty apt description.
While I'm not exactly a fan of actual dubstep (in fact I do prefer the much more upbeat and danceable approach artists like Skrillex take), I can imagine how aggrevating it must be to dubstep fans that the mainstream keeps thinking artists like Skrillex and Savant are "dubstep". :p

Here's some dubstep influenced music that I really love, though none of it is stricly "classic" dubstep - maybe we should start a new off-topic thread to discuss genres of modern electronic music?

How do you know that the sales were abysmal?
