If Farsight stopped supporting TPA as of now...

Wondered what other peoples overall thoughts of TPA would be if Farsight announced they were no longer supporting it, what would TPA legacy be so far bearing in mind this is bound to happen at some point, although I don't think it'll be for a few years (Would love to see this reach 100 tables)

My opinion so far would be:

*Best commercially available pinball game so far
*Best iOS game (my opinion)
*Personally gave me a new interest in pinball in general (made me attend PHOF in Vegas on holiday, and pinball party convention back in UK, always play any table I now see)
*Great fan forum here
*Great system to keep people interested with DLC, e.g 2 new tables a month makes it feel like a new game every month, can't think of another game right away like that
*Farsights goal to preserve Pinball tables for future generations is to be commended
*Great selection of tables (on iOS and Android)

If FS stopped right now, Xbox owners would lose their shiite. I in particular, would be happy that they got AFM out before pulling the plug. That being said, it means that every release since has been pure gravy to me.

It would still be better than just another pack of 10-15 tables released on a disc.

... but hopefully we get at least another year or two of support with lots of improvements, yeah?

If I could choose two last things before they stop, I'd pick Black Knight rom emulated with pro menu, and nudge up for mobile.
I'm really hoping both are soon coming, but not the end of TPA.

I'll keep buying, while they keep selling.

As long folks keep buying tables, and there are new platforms and improved mobile devices coming down the pipeline, Farsight will keep on keeping on with TPA.

i plan on continued support and will continue adding tables as they are released. I am more concerned about tablet and phones (iOS and android) tech that keeps marching on as the next latest and greatest thing rolls out. What happens when my current iPad mini for example is no longer supported a few years down the road ? How about my ancient iPhone 4 (although i don't have TPA loaded on it) i am just using as an example as it nears its last iOS updates and iOS 7 coming i think thats about it. As far as FS and TPA go as long as we maintain support and there is a market for the product all should be OK on that front.

Maybe I'm reading too much into the OP's post but I did not read it like he thought they were going to stop. His question is a hypothetical "If they stopped today, what would be their legacy?" That's how I interpreted the question anyway. Its a different question than how - do you think they've done so far - because you will tend to look at what they can do next based on where they are. Its the difference between self analyzing by asking yourself where are you at in life vs. if I die tomorrow how will people remember me. I think its a valid analytical question.

Only for people in the causality loop. The rest of us will continue blissfully unaware that any weirdness has occurred and will continue to enjoy our DLC.

Sean and Kimkom could both be on the writing staff for Star Trek. I am sucker for those head scratching time-line episodes and just watched Yesterdays Enterprise in glorious HD right before reading this. Made my day
