I'm confused about what tables have 3.0 physics on what platforms

I know that all tables Xenon and after have the 3.0 physics, but what about older tables? Are the 3.0 physics implemented equally across all platforms? I mainly play on iPad, sometimes PC or PS4 (if im lazy).

Also, is there a plan to overhaul tables like Creature and Scared Stiff? Great tables, bad implementation.

On PC: all tables have "Physics 3.0".

On other platforms... I dunno. I think all tables since Xenon, and maybe one or two others.

Good to know. Is the plan to add 3.0 to all tables on all platforms? Going from PC to ipad really throws me off. I own all my tables on iPad too, I don't want to have to rebuy them on PC for the "true" experience, and I prefer playing in portrait mode, which is not easy for me with my TV options. I'm wondering what the time frame is for iOS implementation and why PC got the whole update but nothing else did.

PC has physics 3.0 on all tables since one or two months.

As far as I know, for all the others platforms, physics 3.0 is only implemented on Xenon and Big Shot. FS has to tweak each table independently to add the new physics, so it can take a while (except if they can port the modifications from the PC lead version)

Note: PS3/Vita and Xbox360 have nothing yet, as the last released table is still TAF on these platforms. A game update is scheduled for October 2nd on PS3/Vita though and the last five S5 tables released in the same time. So physics 3.0 should be at least implemented on Xenon and maybe Big Shot (and why not on all the others tables... although I highly doubt it).

Just going by my own experiments, it seems mobile does have the 3.0 physics on all tables released after Xenon. You can tell by rapidly pressing the flipper. If it's 3.0 it won't go down all the way, allowing for a weak flip. Still, I want to be sure that I don't get confused by placebo effects, so is there anyone who can provide a running list of confirmed 3.0 tables for mobile and a time frame for adding 3.0 to older mobile tables? System parity in gameplay is really important to me since I like to switch platforms as the situation dictates.

They've said PC and Android are going to be first out to get new physics on all tables, with Android to follow shortly after PC between the two.

Ugh. So nothing for iOS until like 2016, I'm guessing. I did just test Big Shot on iPad and it's definitely not the 3.0 version :-(

So is there someone who can explain why the update couldn't be rolled out to all platforms around the same time? It's the same engine, right? I'd also like to know if each platform will see all tables updated at once, like the PC version, or if they'll just update a few tables at a time. It really makes the mobile version feel like a waste until the update hits since so few tables support the new physics and they really do feel much better. I have the PC version but i only own all tables on mobile, so I feel like less of a priority as a customer, especially when they can't even provide us with a roll-out plan. For all the money i've invested across multiple platforms it would be nice if Farsight was more forthcoming about the state of the work being done to improve their product. I understand that it takes time, especially when they've stretched themselves so thin, but it would be nice to get an estimate of just how much time.

I have to say that this time they should be given some slack, they REALLY surprised us. They said that they're gonna do the tables one at a time starting with PC, and that it's lots of work so it's gonna take some time, and then they did Big Shot and also gave a list on what tables we could expect next, then suddenly BOOM, all tables done! So they're way ahead of what was expected. I wouldn't be surprised now if we see more platforms coming fairly soon, as you said it's possible that it's easier to update the other platforms now that they've got the tuning down and stuff.
