Jack*Bot coming in season 4?

I'd LOVE to see Jack*Bot in Season 4. At least that would give me something to look forward to. For the most part, I've felt that Season 4 has had mostly mediocre tables.

I've never seen a Jack*Bot table in person - only in videos online. So how does it play? Is it PinBot deluxe? Or a compelling game in its own right?

I'd like it in TPA either way. I hated Pin Bot IRL originally,but when I learned how to play it I gained a new respect for it. And BOP is one of my favorite tables.

I thought that had the Cabala name licensed and also maybe it is based off an arcade game? That would also be a license.

Funny, I always thought it was Cabala too, but it's not. But it IS based off of the arcade games by Raw Thrills, so yes, there is still licensing.

I'd like it in TPA either way. I hated Pin Bot IRL originally,but when I learned how to play it I gained a new respect for it. And BOP is one of my favorite tables.

I also only played a few games of BOP in real life but since it came out on TPA I've found awhile new respect for the table. I sometimes burn myself out on it but I always come back to it. Kind if like a psyco girlfriend that you know is bad for you but you keep going back for more!

It's too bad TPA can't implement the new Color DMD, BOP 2.0 It looks like there is a whole new rule set and a really cool DMD. Since I've never played it IRL I can only go by what I've seen in videos.

Hopefully they will have a table with it at the Pinball festival in Sturbridge MA this summer.

The big similarity to Pinbot is starting multiball, which works the same way with completing the visor and locking the two balls in the eyes. Other than that, Jack*bot is its own game. Multiball has two different interesting stages of jackpot shots, better than Pinbot having just the solar value and nothing else to do. And the casino games and Casino Run are another different progress track (works much like HRC, except you just play each game once, don't have to grind until you win it.)

Just for fun,I looked at Pinside's latest Top 300 list. Not counting any Alvin G or Capcom tables,quick and dirty - here is what's left of any non-licensed DMD tables:

Pinball Circus
Hurricane
Sharkey's Shootout
Checkpoint
Wipe Out
The Getaway:High Speed 2

That's not a lot of tables.

I don't believe that we are going to see Jack*Bot in Season 4 because I am under the impression that Farsight is attempting to finish the Williams portion of the Top Ten Poll that was conducted over the Summer of 2013. Five of those tables (Fish Tales, Black Knight 2000, JunkYard, Diner, and Bram Stoker's Dracula were released in Season 3. With Earthshaker! released, Cyclone on tap for Table Pack 36, The Getaway: High Speed II being a good possibility for Table Pack 37, and the prediction that one table will be a Gottlieb, this will leave us with two tables that will leave Farsight room to finish the Williams list.

It seems more likely than a DMD Gottlieb such as Stargate or Gladiators filling that slot. Doing that would offer a spot for Eight Ball Deluxe, but that would probably be better for Season 5.
