There are superheroes which are popular, and those that are less popular, but still well known, among comic book fans, and then there are the few heroes which are a part of everybody's awareness (Superman, Spiderman, Wonderwoman, The Hulk, etc.), usually through the help of succesful movies or cartoons.

And then there's Batman, who's just head and shoulders above everyone else, even Superman. :p

I think the time is now although not as time sensitive maybe as T2. Not played this but seen on YouTube and it looks great.

Dredd is a class film. Although box office didn't impress, blu ray and DVD did. There is an online petition believe it or not for Dredd 2.

Judge dredd isn't anywhere near as big as the main marvel and DC characters here in the UK. Not by a long shot.

The good news for FarSight is that Judge Dredd is owned by Rebellion Developments, who publish the comic that Dredd appears in, and have made Dredd games. They own all the rights, making it easier to work with the one entity.

Which should make it easier,IMO,to obtain the license to get the Dredd table...

I do think that at some point,Dredd will make it into TPA.

Got to play this for the first time yesterday - and it was a highlight table for me. A must for TPA this is! Fast table though...

I agree. Judge Dredd is an absolute must have on TPA. Lets hope it navigates it's way to us on our favorite platforms.

They're just saving Dredd for Season 3 at this point, like Fish Tales, right? I mean, it's a must (like Fish Tales), the license, I believe would be reasonable, everyone wants it, it's a widebody, a Dr. Flash classic, so they're just keeping it quiet for now so that they still have some big tables for Season 3 that don't need a KS... right?

Makes sense.

Any chance of Judge Dredd Pinball machine

A couple of years before my dad passed away he bought a Judge Dredd Pinball machine, it was so much fun and I have such fond memories of playing it with him. Would love to see it recreated on this.

Kind regards
Cable83.

From memory it was a Bally, had a gold eagle up on top and I would always get 'bad impersonator' as one of the features, funny as.

It's a possibility, but would require licensing (and thus a Kickstarter project) for the Judge Dredd comics from the company 2000 A.D. (Which should be cheaper than the movie licenses, though!) It's a great table and is probably in the works...

I doubt it'll need a Kickstarter since IIRC this one was on the Bally poll from a few months back, the "Top Ten Most Wanted Tables" one, so it wouldn't need a KS.

Yeah, I liked it too. Just saw it on Netflix a week or two ago.

It's based more on the comics than the Stallone garbage. The fact that he never removes his helmet is already a huge improvement.

The soundtrack is just as good, I usually crank it up when I'm driving. :)

Can't go wrong with more Trudeau tables! I also love the very comic-like primary colors on the playfield.

And 3 inline captive balls? Looks sweet :D
