I just got a pretty respectable score (Funhouse 101m+) and realized afterward that I wasn't online and logged in. Will the score be eventually posted on the leaderboard after the fact?
Yeah, you need to have an online connection. If my internet is down, I don't play at all for the fear that I'd set a super high score that doesn't register
When I first started playing TPA for real, I didn't know how the leaderboard thing worked exactly. So I took my iPad on holiday in an appartment without Wi-fi and promptly posted a 1.6B Monsterbash game. It took me then another year or so, to beat that score. So now I go only to places with Wi-Fi....
Yeah, I thought as much. Perhaps this might be an issue for a future update. How hard would it be to poll the device's high-score lists and do an update to the leaderboard?
I was thinking about that (hacking being easier), but I couldn't think of a way to exploit being offline and then afterwards getting a readout of your scores for online posting. Then again, I'm a standup guy.... And posting how is not good anyway. Probably too much hacking happening already if you look at leaderboards, even with real score showing up on the wrong lists.
