Request Low battery warning - Pause mode

Usually when TPA loses the focus, the game goes into pause mode.

This is not the case, when my Galaxy tab pops up a low battery warning. The game continues to run, but of course without responding to user input.

Could this be changed please? Thanks

There are ways to disable battery warnings if you google around.
Now if TPA wouldn't quit on me when battery runs dead it would be great
