Okay so here's the plan... we make the fugetive believe he's a kickstart-backer, and that he can collect his TPA redeem-code at a given location, at a given time, have the squadteam ready...

They apparently discovered him across from the media area , holding a cabin hostage , 5 miles from the site of his abandoned car . More cops shot , media circus , and stand off .

Huh, learned something new today - Jay is the mayor of Big Bear, CA.

What the hell, FarSight's CEO is the mayor of their own town? That's crazy awesome.

Also explains why he feels the need to introduce the area in every promo video they've done.

News broke Tuesday afternoon of a chaotic showdown between law enforcement and the rogue ex-LAPD officer. After hours and hours of suspense, the cabin went up in flames, and many are believing the police started the fire after an alleged recording from a police scanner leaked, saying:

"All right, Steve, we're gonna go, er, we're gonna go forward with the plan, with, er, with the burn. We want it, er, like we talked about. […] Seven burners deployed and we have a fire."

And apparently news station KCAL picked audio up that recorded voices yelling:

"We're going to burn him out!"

"Burn this motherf*cker!"

But even with the fire, it is still unclear as to how the person — believed to be Dorner — died inside. A single gunshot was heard inside after police ordered the inhabitant to surrender.

So along with burning alive, theories to the suspect's death also include suicide.

Thank God he didn't hole up in Farsight's cabin. If they had burned that building down...God help us all.
