Version 1.70.17 FIXES:

Black Rose:

The 2K Jet light is tied in with the right orbit Combo light.
The right orbit Combo light is tied in with the 2K Jet light.
The 1K Jet light is tied in with the right orbit Jewel light.
The right orbit Jewel light is tied in with the 1K Jet light.
These four light issues, referenced here.

No Good Gofers:

Some of the GI are not correctly hooked up. Where some of them are correctly going off; other parts aren't going off at all.

the update added cabinet mode
but it will be unlocked only if you pay 149 $ and buy a key !


feels like a fraud.
we have to pay "some" $ for all tables and if we want cabinet mode (and improved tables ) we have to pay 149 $ additionally.

if we pay 149 $ we will get :

cabinet mode with 4 camera angles, backglass and dmd support

AND

- refinements in gameplay
- graphic improvements in lightning, shading and artwork

these 2 things should be available for ALL users who paid for the tables !
if we want bug free tables we have to pay another 150 bugs or the long list from
Pinballwiz45b will stay unfixed for the people who don't pay.

in these 6 ? month since the last tables got released hardly any bug has been fixed
or full rom support for e.g. for black hole added, etc etc


may be they lost wms licence because they added cabinet support....

I'm fine with an extra charge for cabinet mode, and wouldn't expect anything less for major added functionality that wasn't promised to be included, but for regular fixes/improvements to be added in to make it a more attractive deal seems very unfair to say the least, disingenuous if it's really as it seems to be.

Last update (v1.70.20):

DX11 remains the same at v1.70.17.

EDIT: Now resolved. DX9 also remains on the same build.

Most recent update fixed an issue I was having: I used to hit Esc and it would switch from fullscreen to windowed mode and would run at an accelerated speed. I rebound the pause menu back to Esc and it is running normal now.

Yeep. Additionally all three tables point to the wrong leaderboard. At least all owned tables seems there...

It’s a lovely attract mode, too. Learned of some detail I’d not noticed before. Had plenty of time to examine things :)

Really? It's a weekend, and they've been preparing for the WMS removal since they first announced it. This release happens on a WEEKEND, yet this remark is brought up here? I wake up to find this reply from 5-6 hours ago?

Ridiculous. They'll get them all sorted out in due time. A weekend update is not normal, especially when we get new content.

And yes. I can confirm that AC/DC, Star Trek, and Mustang do not work at this moment.


BUT, this is a good thing. Given that the lights aren't turned on, means that there are stray lights that aren't hooked up to the game code yet. You'll notice some stray GI that's lit across the playfield.

Version 1.70.27 Bugs:

AC/DC:

  • Lighting on the inserts up top needs to be adjusted to clearly tell which lights are turned on or off.
    [*]Left Ramp flasher is tied in with the Yellow flasher on the left side.
    [*]The yellow flasher on the left side is dim.
    [*]Thunderstruck blue lights need looked into; they're hard to read or tell if they're lit or not.
    [*]GI lights at Hell don't interact at all.
    [*]GI lights around the plastics on the main playfield don't interact at all or have very little effect. Needs MAJOR work.
    [*]Lights underneath the right ramp fire plastic don't exist.
    [*]Flasher on the Rock and Roll Train head is dim.
    [*]Jukebox kicker flasher at the back doesn't exist.
    [*]Left Ramp Left Side Flasher doesn't exist.
    [*]Left Ramp Right Side Flasher doesn't exist.
    [*]Right Ramp Right Side Flasher doesn't exist.
    [*]Bell Arrow Flasher doesn't exist.
    [*]Flasher in the pop bumper area is too dim.
    [*]Right Ramp Flasher flashes the Red flasher near the cannon. The one that's supposed to flash instead doesn't exist.
    [*]Red flasher near the cannon is dim.
    [*]Lights at the sides of the Jukebox are dim.
    [*]White bulb at the upper right corner is tied in to the red lights at the Jukebox.
    [*]Red light in the plunger lane isn't supposed to be there.

    [*]Yellow lights around the playfield shown, around GI. Includes the plastic behind the 4 band members.
    [*]Ramp plastics non-existent?

    [*]Emulation speed is slower when compared to the real thing. Noticeable at the Jukebox when the lights are supposed to be in the rhythm of the song.
    [*]Instant Info doesn't work when trapping a ball on the flipper for an extended amount of time. Some platforms.
    [*]Some wizard goals could be toggled at the start of a new game, after finishing a previous game with all Standard Goals complete.
    [*]Super skillshot by holding up the right flipper sometimes doesn't work.

Mustang:

  • Emulation speed is slower when compared to the real thing.
    [*]Some wizard goals could be toggled at the start of a new game, after finishing a previous game with all Standard Goals complete.
    [*]Holding a ball on the right flipper makes the ball not lie still.
    [*]Super skill shot sometimes has the ball hit the wall up top by the Ford roll over lanes and drops in the pop bumper area instead.

    [*]No GI interaction whatsoever.

Star Trek:

  • No GI interaction whatsoever.
    [*]The laser light show on the playfield during Klingon Multiball should follow a more circular and clockwise pattern than just straight lines.
    [*]Pop bumper counter/score bug can sometimes occur, similar to that of Iron Man's pop bumper counter/score bug. Could be a ROM issue.

    [*]Emulation speed is slower when compared to the real thing. Note how the display isn't synced to the light show for Medals awarded, upon starting a wizard mode.
    [*]Instructions: Warp Ramp Extra Ball at 7, not 3.
    [*]Instructions: Vengeance Battle is the 3rd mode, not 2nd.
    [*]Pulling the plunger back causes the ball to go too far down, leave the switch prematurely and lock the selected mission in.

Here are a few bugs I noticed since the v1.70.27 (DX9) update:

- I cannot start a game in the new Stern AC/DC, Star Trek and Mustang tables. When I click Start, it continues to do a pan over the table surface.

- If you start a table (any table) and play for a bit, then go into the menu and select "exit game" it brings you back to the table's attract mode as usual, but there is no table music playing. It did play the music fine before this update.

- The Eye Ball custom ball I purchased a few years ago is missing. Here's a picture of it - http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v310/KillRideMedley/7jk_114B.png.html

Same here: I can't even get a game in the new tables. The camera keeps moving over the table and that's it. I stopped waiting after a minute or so...

Damn lost the glow balls after the latest update.Now I cant play pinball in the dark anymore :( I want my balls back Farsight
