I'm a Tigers guy, but they choked. Also a Cubs guy, but lol...maybe next year.

Gotta go with the Royals now. Anybody but the Cardinals.

Being a Giants fan, I'm a big Cards fan today.

Edit: Oct. 11, I no longer will be.

I've always been a huge tigers fan and am embarrassed to be swept by a team that we dominated in the regular season. With our bullpen I actuall saw the series loss and accurately predicted what would happen in game 2. I would like to see some new blood now that my team is out. Rooting for the al since sf and St. Louis have too many recent championships. Would have been great for the nats to advance but oh well.

We both need better bullpens. There's no reason why the Dodgers, with the highest payroll in the league, should be getting dominated by the damn Cardinals.

You wanna know why they won?

They had a good bullpen. lol

I have $5 that says the Cardinals will win, and that's going to have to salvage everything.

Though judging by the teams that are left, the O's are probably the best.

The Royals were lucky and now they're coming up against a better team that is just as lucky.
The Giants took advantage of playing a Nats team that slumped at just the wrong moment. They hardly scored any runs themselves.
The Cards took advantage of Bad Yasiel Puig and Postseason Clayton Kershaw (the not-so-good identical twin to Regular Season Clayton Kershaw).

So yeah, while my financial well-being depends on the Cards, the smart money should be on the O's.

I think I'm the only Dodger fan that really wants to trade him for a player that's actually consistent.

I was shocked we didn't go after David Price, but after watching him play lately, I'm thankful we didn't.

Yeah, you didn't miss much by not getting Price. I really wish the Tigers would've shored up their bullpen instead as that was a huge reason they choked. They thought Soria would be enough, but he was especially horrible.

The Dodgers have hired Andrew Friedman as President, Baseball Operations. Ned Colletti will stay as Senior Advisor to Stan Kasten.

http://espn.go.com/los-angeles/mlb/story/_/id/11700813/los-angeles-dodgers-hire-ex-tampa-bay-rays-gm-andrew-friedman

To recap: Andrew Friedman is President, free to hire a GM. Ned Colletti gets new deal, works for Kasten now. Donnie Baseball still golden. To put in a Hollywood perspective: This is what would've happened if Billy Beane had said yes to the Red Sox.

In other news, crazy win for the Giants!

Now it's time for KC to continue their streak.
