I have all the wizard goals on Season 1 (PS3). I would say the ones which made me sweat (and become crazy sometimes):

- Start the Frog Frenzy on Rbion. I couldn't have the last jackpot during a multiball (I never knew why... bug?). I had to earn it with the Stone Temple (the thing where you have to make a line, don't remember the name). As it was pure luck to make this precise line to lit the jackpot, it was hell to start this damned Frog Frenzy multiball.

- Harley-Davidson: Milkwaukee multiball. It's not very difficult but sooooo long.

Genie 3M goal seems hard at first, but with the good strategy, it's doable (at least on PS3, thanks to easier nudging)

I've just purchased Season 2 two weeks ago, so I don't know by now, but it seems that some wizard goals are tough (Central Park 1000pts and Goin' Nuts).

Not listed, but Pin*Bot Sun Special.

What really bugs me is that I've done it twice and it didn't register either time.

Like all specials requested as a wizard goal (like Monster Bash special for example), the Sun Special must be collected with a single ball in play: it means that the visor is closed, no ball locked, just one ball in the playfield.

- Collect the special during multiball: don't register
- Collect the special when a ball is locked: don't register
- Collect the special when the visor is open: don't register

- Collect the special during "normal" play: register.

As soon as you lit the sun, if you're in multiball, lose the second ball, shot anywhere to close the visor (if you trap the ball, the visor will stay open until you shoot).

Then, aim directly to the special target (risky) or pray for the ball to bounce on the left slingshot and goes straight to the target.

It worked for me (on PS3)... today! :p

Having just played HRC, I think this should be bumped to give the Super Duper Mega Jackpot (or whatever it is called) goal an honourable mention. You need to make nine (or is it twelve?) really difficult shots during multiball, all while avoiding making four shots to the easiest shot on the board that the ball is drawn to like a magnet.

Super Surprise may be worth a mention to, but I think with patience and the right shots it might be just shy of a mention.

+1 for both. I got that Jackpot by chance, but I'm still working towards Super Surprise.

I'd add the 5x Jackpot Multiplier on POTO.

I registered the HRC jackpot goal via a bug that's now fixed (you could register the goal with a lesser jackpot), but I've since nailed it for real so I don't feel such a fraud any more ;)

I'm still struggling with 3M on Genie, Ultimate Champion on CPub (doesn't help that it's buggy as hell), most of the Goin' Nuts ones, and MM Video Mode.

For a PC player, particularly with a controller, the Dracula Video Mode is easy. I've cleared wave 7 or 8; or maybe I'm just really really good at it and everyone else sucks?

This one made me crazy. Because of the bug, one of the hardest wizard goals. Even more than Genie (not so hard, once you have the good strategy. It requires patience above all.)

I swear... I managed to get ONE SHOT away from the jackpot goal, with a very controlled two-ball play. But of course, it would drain.

Then I got a game to 193 chips before losing my last ball. And I didn't manage to get ANY extra balls from the wheel. It was a 2B game, but it could have been so much more... I hate that feeling of "the one that got away". In pinball, it can make a remarkable game feel worthless.

This is too familiar, I messed up situations like this before. I hate it that I have 995 HOF points on Taxi for example, if I had plunged the last ball at 100k instead of 50k, it would show 1000 HOF points....I missed countless shots on other tables where I would have started a profitable multiball or wizard mode on my last ball. I probably need a session with a sports psychologist :) The funny thing with HRC is that it feels like I could easily score past my current 2.3B, especially if you get Break the Bank really rocking. But then you burn through a lot of extra balls all of a sudden and you're not past 1.5B. It's a table that I often go back to, something really addicitive about it.

Not really a difficult one. Try 300M Coffin Jackpot.

+1 Have already had multiple 15M Werewolves and 9B as top score, but 300M Coffin is hard. Still working on 3M Genie too, now up to 1.5M. I don't know if it's a wizard goal but finishing a perfect Milwaukee MB on HD3 is very hard too because of the time constraints. But it's probably only reaching Milwaukee that is the Wizard Goal (can't check now, because at work)

I know what you mean. But sometimes I get so into a table that emotions get too intense, and I just need to let it go and move my focus onto a different table. This is one of those occasions. My 2B is a great score - in the 50s of the leaderboard, I think. Just, with 193 chips, it could have been so much more...

I feel your pain, although my high score is much lower then yours, I got it on my first game and have not been able to top it. 1b ...I've come very close but can't beat it. Even though at first I hated the table, I keep going back to it but still can't beat my high score. I'm ready to pull all my hair out!!!

I would mention getting Spider Mania from SS and I'm surprised nobody has mentioned the Hole In One jackpot in NGG

The former is easy to get because it's almost impossible to drain on SS and EBs are plentiful. I'd agree that on a real table, Spider Mania would present a significant challenge, but in TPA, it's long-winded but not at all difficult.

The latter, as a one-off shot, sure is difficult, but the good news here is that the game gives you ample opportunities to spam the shot over and over; eventually, one of them will land in.

Other notably painful goals-

El Dorado-1,000,000 on one ball.
HRC-super duper ultimate hyper turbo colossal frustrating annoying petulant cow-of-a jackpot deluxe champion edition ex plus.
POTO-5x Million

The HD Milwaukee jackpot killed my interest in the game because it took so long, playing video mode 100 times in that game didn't make it any more interesting. Glad I got that one!

You just need to collect a Milwaukee Jackpot to get the Wizard Goal. I've yet to complete the 48 states, which is just too hard for a Wizard Goal.
