Bug New Game doesn't start

Whatever causes the bug from the original post was not fixed with the update. But at least it's not a frequent bug. It would help the game feel more polished if the bug was remedied. But it's one I can live with. I've seen much worse in much more expensive retail games.

I seem to be having this issue most with Circus Voltaire.
The game just remains in demo mode, and refuses to start.
