Next Kickstarter Speculation

Couldn't find a thread for this. I figure since we already speculate on coming table packs, why not the next Kickstarter?

My guess is definitely Lord of the Rings. We are long overdue for a Stern. With the Hobbit Pinball coming soon from Jersey Jack, the timing is perfect.

I also feel that this is the only table - barring Indiana Jones but that's a long shot as we know - that would be able to make for a succesful kickstarter in the wake of an angry, Addams Family burnt Kickstarter crowd.

After that I really would like to see Dr. Who, Simpsons Pinball Party, or Family Guy.

Addams Family, LOTR, Family Guy, TSPP, and Indiana Jones would be my top five.
I still think they will find a way to make Addams Family happen, so that is my guess.

I'd actually like to see the Simpsons on the next Kickstarter. Would be nice to help hone my skills both on TPA and at the bowling alley.

My next Kickstarter I would love to see, would be Family Guy it's my all-time favorite Pinball game besides The Wizard Of Oz. But yes I know those are not going to happen anytime soon, so then my real choice would be out of these 10 games, The Simpson's Pinball Party, The Addam's Family, Lord Of The Rings, Indiana Jones: Pinball Adventure, Twister, A Nightmare on Elm Street, The Shadow, Congo, Adventures Of Rocky and Bullwinkle and Friends, or Demolition Man (Love this Game), oh and I have to add The Flinstones. Those are the games I would love to see Kickstarted someday, if possible.

Yeah hopefully it will be The Addams Family, if not TSPPP or LOTR.

Would be awesome if we got TAF at the end of September and then Bram Stokers Dracula in October, be a nice hallowed bookend

It'll be TAF. And that's not even a wishful thinking scenario. There's been enough feedback from FS IMO that indicates they're getting closer to getting permission for it. I'd guess they're holding off until they have the release schedule for PS4 locked down so when it comes time for the KS, they can offer that as a platform for the rewards.

I am cautiously optimistic that it will be TAF and I agree that FS has kept us relatively up to date with their licensing progress (hoping to hear something soon). I understand that they have been working hard and the licenses has been extremely difficult to get. I am pretty confident that FS would be rewarded with very happy customers who would generously fund any KS they start for the table as well as brisk sales of the associated table pack. The popularity of TAF is pretty noticeable on the forum, and it is my all time favorite.

I honestly think that TAF is the only KS that could succeed regardless of the other intangibles at this time.

If FS is able to get back on the Xbox 360 and help maximize their revenue stream, then some other tables could possibly work - like TSPP & LOTR.

But until the other "kinks" get worked out - The Addams Family is your only viable choice.

I would think LOTR would sell quite well due to the movies.
On the other hand Indiana Jones is a classic....but doesn't Disney own that property now?

The Simpsons seems like an instant winner, and something the competition doesn't have.

Will hope for other cheaper licenses such as Judge Dredd. :D

Yeah I can see Adams Family, Simpsons and Lord of the Rings having the best chance of making their goals. If they got the ok and were able to do some newer Stern tables like AC/DC, Star Trek, Metallica, or even Mustang I bet those would have a chance as well.

They are obligated to make it next because they said in the T2 KS: "if this is successful we would -like- to pursue Addams next".

I feel like that was a mistake because now if they do something else there will be backlash. And that's a shame because Addams to me isn't the be all end all. I would love to see LotR, Simpsons, The Who... It's even almost a year, and this will be the first season without a ks table...
