Occasional dead flipper...

Been playing TPA for years. A month or two ago I noticed that occasionally the right flipper doesn’t respond to my thumb tap.

Happens on multiple tables frequently enough to see within a few minutes.

I also upgraded my iPad Air to iOS 11 around the same time... but I can’t remember if the problem started before or after that.

My playing habits have not changed, and my thumbs are not that close to the bezel when I see the problem.

I tried flipping my iPad 180 degrees. Same problem. I also fired up Stern Pinball, and it happened on my first game of Star Trek!

Anybody else getting occasional dead flippers lately? The right one in particular?

YES it is soooooo frustrating
It is only the right flipper.
It does it everyday.
If possible I would like to return to the old physics.

Did the issue start to occur for you when you upgraded your device?

I assumed it was because of the stupid iOS 11 taskbar/dock. It’s annoying as hell.

Second ball on Sorcerer... dead right flipper. I guess I’m done playing.

Just updated to iOS 11.2.5.

First game of F2K... dead right flipper on first ball.

I was hoping the update might fix it, but no luck.

Where is the official page for submitting bugs to Farsight? I couldn’t find it last time I looked.

This has been happening for almost 4 years. It’s not going to be fixed. It’s pretty much unplayable on iOS for me.

I emailed Farsight mid-February.

Tried Banzai Run trial today... two dead right flippers on the first ball.

I hope this gets fixed. The current state is unplayable.
