RBION does limit extra balls, but it's not to 3. Last time I played I had 7 or 8 of them stacked. I think the limit is 8 or 9 and then it stops giving them out for the rest of the game. I think the instructions even mention the number somewhere.

Noteworthy is that the extra balls barely even matter in ripley. If you play careful enough it is nearly impossible to drain on that table. I was somewhere north of 6 billion when I drained my first ball and the game bugged out on bonus countdown before I could tilt.
The limit for RBION is 10 extra balls over the course of the game.

Damn, was hoping people would vote for T2 more lol. But I guess not everyone' favorite table is T2 like me....:p

For me, it's not about my favorite tables. It is about which tables I play the least because every game is a marathon session. It's about being able to like the tables I can't stand.

I do like Twilight Zone as it is, but it would be better if it was more difficult.

Never had that "bonus bugout" problem on the PC or the 360, although it did happen every time I played it on the PS4.
It's par for the course for FarSight to not fix it.
