There will be no excuse if they don't get rom emulation for Black Knight and bug fixes for Cirqus Voiltaire in this months update... because clearly they saved tons of time and money reusing assets on Goin Nuts and Flight 2K is no where near as complicated to reproduce as say, Champion Pub or even Whirlwind really...

Why is rom emulation more important for Black Knight than the others such as Gorgor, Black Hole, etc? I'm not knocking Black Knight, just curious.

IMO, it isn't. ALL the SS tables should be ROM emulated. It's irritating to look at the pan over of any of the above tables while in attract mode and not seeing the lights sequencing like they should. As a person who owns a Firepower I notice things like the lock holes not kicking a ball out fast enough when they're not lit and the background sound never getting to the point where it goes all weird. It just starts over. I'm sure they're more inconsistencies.

I guess if you've played a lot of Black Knight IRL (which I haven't) you will notice many things wrong with TPA's version. Also, the PS3 version looks horrendous which I guess adds fuel to the fire.

I'm certain a scripted table can be as good as an emulated table. The problem is lazy scripting, IMHO.
But perfect scripting requires a lot more work, so emulation is the better choice, economically.
OTOH, emulation probably eats resources on the device that could be used on physics and graphics.

Black Knight has a massive laundry list of gameplay, art, and sound issues recorded for it. Out of all the tables in TPA, it and Cirqus Voltaire are most in need of attention from the table doctors.

I've long since given up on CV, if they havent fixed it now after what is it, 13 or 14 months, I don't think they ever will ( or care! ).

Is CV bad on the PS3 version as well, or is it only the mobile versions? I'm having tons of fun with the 360 versions, and if they manage to screw up the WiiU version, I guess that would be one reason for me to not switch.

That's sad, CV is a top 5 game of all time, it deserves better treatment. Even though it's not my favorite table, the artwork is amazing.

Yes, it came with FH and for me this was one of FarSight's best table packs. The artwork is just great, FH plays excellent, why are they refusing to fix CV? After SO many months it makes you wonder who is running the show over there.
