I didn't even get to play all the oldies. I did play WoZ though. It was cool. They had the sound cranked all the way up, which was nice. That's the only newish pin I played.

I hate it when that happens.

The good thing about PHOF, there's a dozen more tables you wanna play! Last time I was there, I played a bunch of tables I hadn't touched previously, and left feeling good about that. Then I realized all the tables that I had passed because in my head I had said, "oh, but I wanna play this other one first!" The place is like freakin' Disneyland, where unless you plan on staying the whole day, you're gonna miss a bunch of stuff.

knowing we're getting an EM this season, i was curious to look at a previous best of poll.

Out of the top vote getters Wizard looks the best to me. I've played Space Mission several times. it's a fun table. Royal Flush looks cool too.

I was surprised Fireball didn't make the suggestion cut. I'd have also added Pat Hand (gorgeous looking game) and Grand Prix (Williams last EM I believe) to the poll as i think both games are fun designs.

Ultimately I wish the KISS license wouldn't require a Kickstarter and we could get that into TPA in the EM slot.

Wizard is the top pic? Come on. It's got great art. No doubt. But it's gameplay is nothing special. That's ok. It ain't gonna happen anyway. With the very limited number of EM's they're gonna do, FarSight is not going to pay a license for one. I can't see that happening.

On the other hand, Wizard would probably work better in digital form than some of the 60's tables. These two inch flipper games just don't translate as well. They require a specific feel for nudging that's just lost in the video game world. Also, they feel even more "mechanical" than the 70's games. The loud "thong" of the bells (as opposed to chimes) is lost as well.

The biggest thing lost from a game like Central Park is IT HAS A MANUAL BALL LOADER! I laugh every time a ball is kicked out with it's mystical coil firing outhole kicker. I'm sorry. This game does not have that. If I want to manually load and plunge all five of my balls at once, I should be able to. It's a neat feature of these type of pins. It's not going to happen though. Why? Because they'd have to program this game much differently than the others and it wouldn't be financially worth the time. They did remove the sound of an outhole kicker so I guess that's something.

What's the word from FarSight right now? Two EM's? Fireball and Atlantis (or C37). They'll do fine.

Many sounds of Big Shot are missing, too. I doubt they own these tables.

Great poll. I do hope "Spirit of 76" will become part of season 4 or a future season. It got second place in the poll, that is still fantastic. It's a great table and plays a great part in pinball history. Thanks.

Since we have a fun two-pack of EM's for the Table Pack, I thought I would bump this poll from 2013 so that those who are new forum members can see what EM's this forum has voted for in the past.

Thanks again PinWiz for putting together the gameplay/playfield part of this survey. It is on page 1. That was a lot of hard work. This is a closed poll so no more votes can be cast.

I voted for Fast Draw, of course. What do you other forum members think?

If there is enough interest, I will do a Round 2 of this poll so that past members can recast their votes and those that didn't get a chance to vote the first time around can participate. Let me know what you all think.

Interesting how Fireball wasn't in the list. El Dorado I understand, but not Fireball?
