Using the time next to our posts in the chatroom, a start time would be established. For example a typical post would look like this...
(19:32)<shutyertrap>hey guys, what's happenin'?
So I'd say, start time for game is :35, post score no later than :41
That way you had 5 minutes to play, 1 minute to get your score up.
Table was picked maybe a minute or 2 before actual start. At say :34, I'd confirm everyone was ready, and once everyone checked in, I'd say go. The idea is to only play one game. If your game ends before 5 minutes, that's your score. If you are still playing at the end of 5 minutes, let the ball drain and that is your score.
Winner got to pick next table, which usually started 4 minutes later, or in this example, at :45, posting by :51.
'Twas fun, frenetic, certain strategy normally used went right out the window, and eventually there was name calling!
Since some of us were on PS3, AFM / Genie was our stopping point for game selection. So dems the basic rules, let's have fun with it, and maybe we can get one of the FarSight lads to come into the chatroom and witness the fun (so they could maybe implement something like it for an online mode).
