Here's a copy 'n' paste from the EU blog

Howdy y’all… Bobby King of the Pinball Arcade here to give all the pinball fans out there the heads up on everything we have going on in March and make an awesome announcement!
This week at FarSight Studios, we’ve been packin’ up our new expo display and gettin’ ready to head to the Texas Pinball Festival to show off our latest tables and features! We’ll be showing off the stereoscopic 3D support on PS3 that we just implemented. It looks amazing and really adds to the gameplay experience.

We will also be running contests each day to win a Cactus Canyon T-shirt, so if you’re in the area and like pinball – you should definitely stop by. You can check out our game and play unlimited real pinball for the price of admission – it’s a ton of fun!

Later this month, we’ll be releasing Star Trek: The Next Generation for PS3 and PS Vita on the 20th March and Table Pack 10 on 27th March which includes Gottlieb’s great widebody classic Genie and another one of our all-time favourite tables, Bally’s Attack from Mars.

Unfortunately, we can’t bring everyone to Texas – some guys have to stay back and work on the PS4 engine. Oh yeah, I forgot mention…

THE PINBALL ARCADE IS COMING TO PS4!!!

We are super excited about this. Pinball Arcade looks really nice on PS3, but just wait until you see it on PS4! We’ll be adding rendering tech for per pixel ray casting, area lights/shadows, point lights and screen space ambient occlusion (which is a fancy way to say even more shadows). We’re very confident that we can add all of these features on the PS4 and maintain the smooth 60 fps that you need in a pinball game.

We’ll also be updating the physics and gameplay on all of the DLC tables we release. The Pinball Arcade on PS4 will be amazing!

Stay tuned next week for details on our release of the Star Trek: TNG table.

Some great news for every Sony fan. Very tempted to buy a PS 4 now. This sounds spectacular. Let's hope the pc version also get all the bells and whistles :)

Yes please...I have two GTX 480s that are just dying to perform some "pixel ray casting, area lights/shadows, point lights and screen space ambient occlusion". (And probably set the house on fire while doing so, but that's another issue.) :D

Was just coming here to post the very same news, as it arrived in the PS Blog email I get everyday.

Kind of funny since Bobby was clearly dancing around confirming it in Jeff's interview. Ah, timing.

Forgot about the other piece of news there, the full stereoscopic support they just implemented. I don't have a 3D tv yet, but damn does that make me want one.

Agree Shutyertrap. So far I have been very happy with my 6 year old Sony KDL-46x2000 even though some friends keep telling me how much better the new ones are. This could be the push I need :)

I have the same setup as you and those 480's sure do pump out a ton of heat. I can't wait to see what TPA looks like trying to use those GPU's to their full potential.

It's great news to hear that TPA is coming to the PS4.

Some features I would like to see are an upgrade plan for DLC from PS3 to PS4. Sony has records of all are downloads so it could be possible for a fee which I'm happy to pay. Remote play for the Vita would be great also.

That absolutely settles it for me, why wait for the 360 tables when I can have the definitive version on ps4 right around the same time ( or a few months after or who knows, a few months before! Lol).

Lighting slider, full stereo 1080P 3d, dynamic lighting, 8xAF or 8xMSAA, and please up the texture resolution, you have 8 GIGA POWA to work with. Would be a shame if they don't take advantage of all that extra ram.

And with the PS4s PC-like architecture, EVERYONE will be able to take advantage of the hardware...

Unlike...erm... SOME developers that, say, use ONE of the cell's cores only... or uh... don't even use the GPU in the Vita at all.

So... will all the tables be remade? Will PS3 users get cross-buy or a discounted rate for PS3 table upgrades? Isn't this what everyone really wants to know now? Farsight?

Pinball Circus would be beyond incredible in 3D. I'm pretty interested in PS4. PS3 never appealed to me and I thought it was a total wreck but I've been less than pleased with the XboxLive aspect of 360 in general (but especially for the DLC on Pinball Arcade). I'm not sure what Microsoft has in store but Sony really has come out swinging on their next console.

It's decided. I'm skipping the Wii U version entirely and waiting for PS4... guess I'm sacrificing my Kickstarter tables but whatever.

3D support sounds pretty excellent. The depth really helps pinball tables look great. If that is a feature in the PS4 version, I might have to get some sort of display or headset. Of course, I'm really hoping for some Oculus Rift support at some point.
