I don't think Sony would really care either way, it's more a question of if it's technically feasible, and if FarSight feels it's economically viable for them.

Doesn't this article make it seem a lot more likely that if say, FS, wanted to offer a transfer (of same quality tables) and upgrade path for TPA from PS3-to-PS4 via PSN accounts that Sony might just let them, instead of being the evil/greedy bastards many have assumed, to anyone other than me?

I'm feeling a strong sense of deja vu with the direction this thread is heading in..

The Gamasutra article does make it sound like Sony finally wants to make things easier for smaller developers.

Sony is courting the indie market big time. I think they see that as the way to separate themselves from the NextBox, part of their games, games, games strategy.
