Currently Config utility and game no longer crash if display is rotated - previous bug seems fixed... almost ;-)
On a rotated display only landscape resolutions are available in config utility and game display is stretched way out of proportion to fit the nonstandard dimensions.
In the same vein, in a multi-monitor environment please create your window on the display the game was launched from, instead of always defaulting to the primary. The config utility would also query the current display rather than primary for list of supported resolutions.
Perhaps a simpler solution, yet not as desirable would be to stretch your render target proportionally to maintain aspect ratio when adjusted to non-standard dimensions.
