Previously created tables, plus best controller option?

Hello everyone!

I just started using this Tapatalk Client on my phone, so if this has already been asked, I do apologize.

I used to have an awesome game room with many real pinball machines, my favorites being late 90s Bally/Williams tables. Then, as life happens, I was faced with a health crisis and ended up having to sell them all off. But at least I was blessed enough to have enjoyed them while I did.

This is why Pinball Arcade has become my most favorite pastime and I have it on so many different devices.

Nothing beats waking up on Sunday, sipping fresh coffee, laying in bed relaxing after a hard work week, and playing Pinball Arcade on the PS3 hooked up to a 72" flat panel. My idea of real relaxation awesomeness.

Here are my two questions that I am throwing out there...

#1 - On the PS3 I also own (from before) the game disc "Pinball Hall Of Fame The Williams Collection" which I see was also produced by Farsight Games. With so many beautiful tables already rendered and working, why are these not offered as downloads for PA (at least for PS3 since they already work) like Firepower and No Good Gophers for example? Is it still a licensing issue, even though Farsight has already released these titles on PS3 disc?

#2 - from other players' experience, at least on the PS3, what is the absolutely BEST game controller, any brand, that I can buy for playing Pinball Arcade? The stock PS3 controller is "OK" I suppose, but if there is something better out there I would love to know about it

Most of the tables from the Williams Collection will eventually make it into The Pinball Arcade. Many already have on some platforms. Check out this thread for a good summation of upcoming developments with the game.

Did you find a good controller to use on PS3? I've been playing the PS3 version recently and I'm not that happy with the default controller so I'm looking for other options. kimkom mentioned a Pinwiz thread discussing this, but I couldn't find the thread.
