(until they post the sticky for 1.04 bugs)

In Bride of Pin-Bot, the "flatline" sound FX during Metamorphosis is now missing,
also the spinner FX in the "Spirit Cards" lane of ToM is missing as well.

Two steps forward... two steps back?

The ball showing under the CFTBL hologram bug is still there... How many months/years will it take to fix this?

What's the point of reporting bugs if they never get fixed?

Are the sound issues still present?

Sound has been improved, but new audio/sound issues have been introduced. I will document them when I update the PS4 (NA) Version 1.03 Master Bugs List thread to Version 1.04.

In the meantime, I will send the new audio/sound issues directly to FarSight to have them looked into asap.

Good to hear the sound is improved. Thanks. I'm pretty sure I will be getting a ps4 early next year, so this is something else I can get excited about.

1. So far in limited play I have noticed as mentioned above the sound bug flat line in BOPB, also Billionaire club dor matrix not readable, all garbled on Dot matrix display.
2. Also High Speed final point totaling after ball drain sound missing!
3. Dark suspended ball shadow still exists above play field on STTNG table on start.
4. Pin Bot skill shot white lights have a weird flickering happening, with black bars running through them.
5. Circus Voltaire has a large tinted window shadow suspended vertically by left ramp shot.
6. CFTBL hologram bug still exist with ball being visible over it.
7. Audible static pops on all tables when certain audio clips start or end.

I don't understand why they don't fix the problems or most of them, today it's common to fix things after release.
If they have a limited resource then don't make new tables before the old ones are properly patched.
I know it does not make Money for them, but in the long run they will disappoint the fanbase and it will backfires someday. "drop in sales"
They should take care and maintain the tables that are already released.
I read somewhere they want to preserve the Pinball tables in this virtual form, then they should do it right and produce it flawless or patch it after release.
Mater Yoda from Star Wars said it best: "do it or do not there is no try"

Yeah, but sometimes fixing minor problems can create new more major problems. Not to mention, some bugs are much easier to fix than others.

Good idea and watch them go out of business because of it. They can't fix the bugs without capital. Releasing monthly DLC is what keeps them alive.

Even if the sales drop a little, there's always going to be a fan base to support them. I'm one of them, since I see these problems/bugs as minor. They aren't a big deal compared to other bugs in other games that I have, where they crash my system or erase my game save.

Yes there are only minor problems but if the sound quality is terrible it's a game breaker for me.
By the way it's Pinball and not a high end game, can't be so hard to develop it, it's not GTA V.
I will support them nontheless, because I like Pinball Arcade, but they are lacking in patching and fixing issues.
Maybe they are doing their best with the limited resource, I don't have insight knowledge
It's just like it is, maybe we should all be happy that Farsight is serving this kind of market niche.
We all moan sometimes about minor things.

Sometimes the simplest programs can have the most complicated encoding. This is especially true for emulators and emulation software. I've been a part of the Visual PinMame scene in the past. The amount of code needed for the Visual Pinball editor, PinMame, and the emulation for each table was staggering. Advanced GI (general Illumination) lighting and flashers needed their own program script to work properly.

Not to mention, when it comes to consoles. Add-ons/DLC are harder to update because Sony (in particular) doesn't have a system in place to patch DLC. You can only patch the main game itself.

Are you here to surveillance negative comments and aid Farsight against criticism?

No. He's here to exchange ideas with other pinball enthusiasts. He has a different opinion than yours. That doesn't make him a bad person or a corporate plant.

After abandoning Pinball Arcade (PS3) mid way through season one due to the bugs, its been a good while since I had got up to date with developments of the game. I got a PS4 for Christmas and noticed TPA on the store so thought it was time to give it another go... why not when there is a free table on offer?

Initial impressions were not good; loading revealed the same bedroom coder style interface from the mid 90's (what happened to the talk of new menus? As I recall there were even some mockups floating around at one point). Once in the game though, I could see things have taken a turn for the better with the lighting... sooooo it was back on my radar.... Seeing the generous discount on the NA PSN store (I went with the expensive Euro store for the PS3) I decided to jump in.

Initial impressions are that nothing has changed :-/ What could have been a lovely next-gen remodel (given the extra horse power and crucially, the oodles of RAM on offer) turns out to be little more than the same tired decor, with a new table lamp in the corner. Same LOW RES textures in season one, same tables that haven't been updated with animated backglass, same awful looking room that the tables are set in (with no option to even turn it off) .... and then the new problems start to show.... So I come here to find the list is as big if not bigger than the PS3 problem list was.

I would like to add to the bug list (apologies if they have already been reported)

Popping and crackling audio on all tables

Eye bleedingly ugly interface (ok not a bug, as just something I wanted to reiterate)

Super low res table flyers (seriously? how long would it take someone to do a quick rescan? 2 mins a flyer?)

Odd colouring of the DMD when in low light mode.

Visible triangular boxes around the flashing lamps on the left and back of CV when in low light mode. Rear one distorts DMD, while front one becomes very obvious when lit as the glow effect ends up meeting the limit of the box and having flat edges.

First left claw lamp on Scared Stiff has very odd illumination compared to others. Constantly on when off and then goes whiteish when actually on.

BOPB - Lights behind the plastic on the right (with the multipliers on) have a wierd flickering effect with black lines running through. Seems like some sort of AA or Post processsing issue.

All in-game store links return an unavailable error.... not to mention the HIGHLY confusing number of editions that show up in the store itself (there were two Season 1 icons, with one showing up as "unavailable").

All this shows up within the first 10 minutes of me flicking through the tables last night; I'm sure there will be more. I don't know why I expected anything different given the history, yet I still find myself feeling disappointed. The concept of TPA is such a wonderful and noble one, it's just such a pity to see it lack to polish and quality it deserves.

99.9% sure these are all known issues.

Yeah. I bought it again for PS4 only to find out that it's just as bad and broken as the other versions. Same problems with new ones piled on top. No real attempts to fix the problems or improve their game.
They keep doing half assed work and grabbing for our cash, but don't seem to care at all about the ****** quality of their product.
