push notifications... not cool

i got a push notification today about a tournament starting. which is cool and all, but i kindof wish i could turn these off. (which isn't cool)

I've had 2 such notifications, and found no way in app settings to disable, so I did this today:

Settings > Apps > Pinball Arcade > uncheck "Show notifications", which should disable this unwanted new feature.

Pretty much have to do that with any Android app. I know I need it for The Simpsons Tapped Out as well and that is far spammier than TPA.

Like mudtoe said. All applications have an option to turn push notifications off. Unfortunately the option is buried in the settings menu.

Yeah this was not cool. Ideally the app itself would have an option for it, since it doesn't we just have to go into the system settings and disable all notifications from it ever.

In some versions of Android at least you can long press on a notification, and it'll take you to the settings to turn it off.
