only place I seen 1 was at the PACIFIC PINBALL MUSEUM....maybe theyd lend it to you knowing it was going to be a part of pinball history. Up in northern california. Ive been scowering Cl listings and havnt seen 1 yet. Theres only 2 on pinside.com and they are really far away.

$2500 is pretty steep for a machine from 1981. It's nearly twice what Pinside says it is worth, though it does have a low production number, and has a reputation as one of the best tables of its time (for whatever that's worth). Shame EBD didn't win. Those machines are all over the place.

Man... that is a beautiful Centaur. 2500 is still a little steep IMO, even for a specimen that nice. Compare 2500 to the going price for most other early 80s Ballys. Unfortunatly, the name of CENTAUR often inflates the price.

I don't know if they sell their tables, but Silverball Pinball Museum in Asbury Park, NJ, has a Centaur. I played it briefly in October; I can't speak for certain on the condition.
