I recall a long time ago, perhaps even back in the Farsight days, that there was interest in re-creating the Rollergames pinball table but they had absolutely no idea who owned the licence to pursue it. The crumb trail was so barren that they even pondered doing it without authorisation as it was unlikely anybody would surface to challenge them.
I just thought it interesting to note that in the Netflix documentary on American Gladiators, Muscles & Mayhem, they acknowledged Rollergames as an early rival to the show and featured footage of it complete with the theme tune. My only point here being: they managed it. Perhaps the licence trail is not so cold after all?
I guess this is more-or-less a post of me saying "I still want Rollergames in FX."
