As far as I understand it, you have to beat your local high score (or at least make it onto your local high score list?) before TPA tries to post to the leaderboards. (Someone please correct me if I'm wrong...)
The way I play, I don't really know the table well enough to play instinctively for a month or two - my great games have always come after that time. But yeah, I'm not spending a lot of time on the new tables because of this leaderboard snafu.
