Sky Force 2014 for iOS

I found out about this app over the weekend and it plays like 1942 on steroids...

i recently downloaded it on ios because jaredmorgs recommended it seems ok but the feel is alittle off to me

I played it a little yesterday but didn't get very far. When I searched it on iTunes I also found a Sky Force 2048 that is an iPhone game app and is also a shooter like this set in space made by a different company.

It's sweet on Android as well.

Looks excellent, indeed just like 1942. iFighter 2 is another one.
It's funny to see how the graphics have improve over time, but the games stay the same. It worked back then and it works now.
Galaga/Galaxian was a great old space shooter in this style, but more primitive graphics of course, 1979, and on the iOS. Raiden Legacy is another vertical scroller, it's a port from the 90s with ditto graphics. R-Type & R-Type II, vertical shooter, end 80s and a direct port for the iOS.

great shout - loving this on Android N7. Not often I install games on my tablet, but this is great fun.
