So just for clarity, these tables will be available to the general public right?
I can certainly contribute to the kickstarter, but if it'll be available to everyone then I'm not sure if I really need to fund this.

They should add a trophy/achievment for the basic funding level kinda like a braging right you helped fund, that way you get your game and some proof or piece of mind I dunno I haven't funded yet...but if something as allbeit simple as that I would . I also think farsight should sell merchandise now to add to the pool since they have the RIGHTS!

if the 45.000$ gets raised, then yes, it will be available to everyone who will cough up the required dough on the marketplace for the machine of their choice...

if the 45.000$ doesnt get raised, then no, noone will play it becouse it will not be made at all...

so you really have to ask yourself "do i need to fund it/do i want to play it" ;)

That multiball at the end of the vid looks crazy fun!
That multiball is "Final Frontier", ST:TNG's wizard mode. It's a 6-ball untimed multiball with all major shots worth 25x million, where "x" is the number of artifacts you retrieved in previous missions (think of them kind of like Ripley's letters). It is indeed crazy fun.

Between this and Twilight Zone's "Lost in the Zone" 6-ball MB, mobile device CPUs must be cowering in fear by now.

I've played the real ST:TNG extensively, but the local one's volume is set super low. It will be nice to be able to experience the sound package on TPA as it was meant to be enjoyed; just from that 2-minute video I've picked up sound clips I've missed.

Pledges seem to shoot up today. 700 bucks and 20 hours to go. Is that the effect of working force US discovering the video-update or is there some unknown publication that posted that paid attention to the kickstarter?

They've already got a playable version up and running before the Kickstarter is even over?

You might not know this , but for each table in the game , FarSight has the real machine in their Big Bear offices , for easy reference and disassemby if necessary . It's one of the reasons the tables are so authentic .
Some of us knew Harley Davidson was coming out soon because we spotted it in the background of their company promo video on Youtube .(that and the video showed Harley Davidson being modeled as a demo) So why did they do Harley Davidson before pinball X? , because it was already a pinball machine they owned and enjoy very much . Why are they doing a STTNG kickstarter 2nd ? because the machine is already ready to be dissected and digitised , if they have'nt begun doing so already. Thanks to these forums they know they should start looking for a Sea Witch machine , as it won hands down over most other older machines with non-licensed status.

I posted in the IGN forums under both Xbox360 and PS3 sections about the kickstarter last week .

The update certainly couldn't have hurt but I would love to see a bigger spike. Getting the word out to as many fan forums for gaming, pinball and Star Trek will help a lot. The other pinball "fansites" seem to want to kill TPA and refuse to support it so whatever anyone can do to put the word out. I want to see this thing wrapped up so we can get on to license support for more themes.

Just a few more days until we see day 14. That was when TZ got a major boost and day 15 had about 10k which put them over 100%. Will be interesting to watch since it definitely has not had the steam TZ had.

seems to be slowing to $1200 a day but withe the amount of days left IT'S IN THE BAG! I still would like to see MERCHANDISE! You know like other companies who want $$$ with a fanbase.

Yeah, this is creeping along. TZ got a boost because they announced TNG as a stretch goal around this time. I think we're seeing Kickstarter Fatigue with this table.

This, and with the Pro Pinball kickstarter launching soon, people may be saving some money to back that project as well. TZ also had that $5,000 backer show up around this time, which obviously distorted things a bit.

I have no doubt it will surpass its goal but it is failing to clear 800 for 4 of the last 5 days. It had a better day 1 but has not come close to any subsequent day if you look at side by side daily pledges. The closest was day 10 but sttng had an update that day. There is always a lot of last minute donors on these the last 2-3 days of any kickstarter. As I had mentioned earlier, day 14 and 15 showed a major spike. Maybe because it was the halfway point, maybe a payday for some, maybe another reason that defies logic.
