Wow that's great pricing. Wish I was using steam. Does anyone know if iOS go on sale? I still have to acquire season 4 and 5. I've been buying the pro editions to support the company and I didn't want to miss any features like the family mode in Elvira: SS. IMO, I think the custom balls should come with pro editions and season pass pro purchases.

They usually put Android on sale during the summer. Can't say about iOS or any other platforms I don't use.

I expect that Android S4 will go on sale since S6 is just about to start, that's how they've run sales in the past so I assume it'll continue like that.

Looks like I'll finally be able to upgrade the earlier seasons to pro!

Now's the time for all our console friends to jump ship to the land of happiness on Steam! I did it after Season 2 on PS3 and haven't looked back. It's amazing how many fewer complaints you'll have...until a whole new set crop up that you never had to consider before on console!

Also, note that Best Buy are doing an offer on digital download currency (Steam wallet gift cards etc.) where if you buy two at the same face value, the second one is 20% off. So for instance you can buy two $50 Steam wallet cards, and the second will only cost you $40.

So if you really want to take a bit of extra effort to save another 10%, go ahead.

XCOM 2 and DOOM are both 40% off!

Tempted by both, but trying to save my pennies for a move next month.

Personally, my biggest temptation is The Witcher 3 + DLC Pass for $50-ish.

I was going to be all-in on Zaccaria Gold as my next purchase until that came along.

Current financial constraints dictate it will only be one of the two.

I'll probably add another season due to the sale, just wish my laptop would run DX11.

The PS3 is so far behind now, may wait till the end of season 5 comes out in stead of buying them individually, which I have done across PS3, Android and Steam.

Sure enough when I finally get around to getting the PS4, (might have to wait till the Neo is released, thanks sony) was planning on buying all the tables again. Though from what I have seen so far, it seems the PS4 has it's own shares of bugs and the whole audio quality which is still lacking is still a problem.

Season 3 is at a great price, I bought the regular (nothing wrong with Pro features, I just care about my scores counting so would play regular anyway). But Season 4 is a bit of a downer if you want the regular Season 4. And yes, I have it for both PS3 and PS4 as well so don't come back with 'support FS', it's just extra.

I completely understand why someone wouldn't buy pro. However, in my honest opinion, it's well worth the extra $1 per table when purchased off sale as a season pack for these reasons; supporting FS, the PRO tips, ability to freely look around the table, and the option for ball control. I rarely use the latter but it's nice if someone wants to repeatedly shoot to master a single shot.

I would think coughing up an extra 10 cents for pro on EVERY pro enhanced table for the season would be worth it, even if just to use the "table look".

The whole point of the post is that it's not really about the money; it's just about the leaderboards. But indeed I did forget about the table look!

Pro mode is kinda good if you want to practice tournament mode and without extra balls if you might play a real tourney some day.

Also the two South Park tables from zen/pinball fx for 1.69 euros (about $1.50 ??) is a steal and a must buy if you don't have them!!

I'm not a big fan of zen/pinball fx but the south park table is eons above the rest of them IMHO and really awesome and the butters table is top 3 of the rest of them zen's.
Great pinball fun for lots of hours there.

Good alternative to try while pinball arcade are sorting out their new UI crashing tables and stuff.

So season 3 is half the price of the others. Can someone comment on the value here? Which season would you recommend if buying just one of them?

Can you rank 1,2,3?

It's hard to say what season is the best between 1,2 and 3 because they all have some great tables.

Season 3 has probably my 3 top tables; Dracula, Fish Tales and High Roller Casino. They might be an acquired taste though. Another fave is Diner. They are a little more challenging tables I think and especially drac and fish tales with the slightly smaller lighting flippers feel really great and have a physically more realistic feel to them and are slightly harder and Diner is drainy too. Many of the pinball arcade pins are just too easy. But s3 has some more nice ones; Who dunnit, BK2000 and Black Rose are pretty fun as well, but I might not go back to them as often.

Season 1 has all the heavy top classics; Medieval Madness, Monster Bash, Attack from Mars, Cirqus V, TZ, Theatre of Magic, Creature, Arabian Nights, Scared Stiff. The majority of the rest is up there too. However, the physics feel a little floaty. From Attack from Mars and onwards it's slightly better.

Season 2 is slightly weaker but has some absolute gems with lots of replay value as well; White water, Whirlwind, Cactus Canyon, Space Shuttle, and then Centaur, T2 and maybe one or two more aren't too shabby either.

All in all I agree with Eldar, 1, 3, 2, in that order. I guess season 1 is just a must have, however like I said the physics get slightly better from last table of s1 and onwards.
