That's been a pretty popular one, surprised they're doing it again though (despite it's low production run). Shame it has the same DMD layout/config as other Sterns of that era which I despise, which seem to only use 50% of the DMD for animations (crappy digitised ones at that) and the other half for the score. Looks cheap.

I guess there's a chance we could see new code for it though, which is always a good thing.

It has some decent aspects to it. Unfortunately far from their best table.
People still seem to think highly of it. No doubt a good percentage of that is attributed more to it's rarity than how good it is. Harder to obtain = more likely to wring out any drip of enjoyment when you DO see it = artificial entertainment value.

It's one of the better Stern superhero tables,IMHO. Besides, isn't any pinball table getting another production run a good thing?

It's tough as nails but not particularly noteworthy after that. There is a shot that fires the ball straight back at the flippers as soon as you hit it, incredibly quickly. That's the most unique thing about it.

Definitely better than xmen (although that has improved with code updates) or avengers (seemingly beyond help). I have never loved any batman tables but they are decent. Spider-man is pretty excellent though.

Was really disappointed with Avengers. I thought Gomez could do a really great job with it. And the theme is perfect for pinball. But it's one of those machines that I've tried to love but have never really enjoyed. Shots are far too tight to get any real flow going, modes are boring and tough to activate, and it's really low scoring on top of that. My high score is 15 million.

Spider-man, on the other hand, is one of my favourite tables of all time.

So, like the RIPPER shot on Last Action Hero. Or the TREX shot in Jurassic Park.

I actually love Iron Man. It's brutal but I still come back for more punishment. Never thought I would love it that much but it got me hooked right away.

Regarding X men. I had the opportunity to buy one that was almost NIB (someone had it in a office and never played it)and I got a great price so I took a chance on a game I could never see myself buy. The big toys has always been a big no for me but when I got the game a couple of weeks ago they didn't bother me at all. Now, the call outs is probably some of the worst in history though. The game has a lot to shot for and that is a + but not very inspired rules. Still thinks it is ok, but far far way from my favorites

Now let's hope a re- release equals new code update also.

With this happening and the MM remake being built at Stern factory, the next months I have a feeling we will only see one more new game coming out this year. Ac/DC, Met, and Star Trek still sells and they do not want a new game with to much competition (even from themselves) I am guessing one new game in August /September and that is it for this year.

They are making a Motley Crue table. They put a pretty obvious tease on their Facebook page a few days ago.

I don't recall seeing it on the stern page. Besides if they made a table for every tease they'd have about 30 tables/year. I will believe it when I see it when it comes to their tables.

I heard they were doing a Kiss pin next. All just rumor until they actually announce something officially.

But I think it's cool they will rerun Iron Man. Maybe LOTR or Tron Premium as the next vault edition?
