Hoping with the crazy ball reflections in the PS3 version now that the skull and balls will shine a bit more than it looks.

I had the same thought... it seems a bit thick-jowled. So I compared to the pics at ipdb and the shape looks about right; I think it's just the colors that are a bit off. It should have more of a chromed look to it.

It appears that in some camera views the cannon targets might be blocked a bit by the drone jet/helicopter thingamajiggy.

Would definitly like to see a more chrome look to the skull, but otherwise like what I see.

I am hoping these change significantly between now and PS3 release time. How you can have a T2 where the skull is pink/purple and not gleaming chrome - or at least silver/gray/lead color - just blows my mind. The whole thing has that awful pink hue to it that we've seen other tables hurt by and that really bugs me with this one.

Yes, the original machine does have the center post ("the pin between the two flippers"). In the PAPA 14 World Championships, this was removed.

Yes, some games that were known to have SDTM problems would sometimes get a center post. T2 was one of them. Of course, it could be removed like it is during PAPA competition play.
