Only bad thing about Haunted House.....no multiball. :(

but it love it!

I just remembered there was a multiball mod or something for this, I have never seen it though.

Haunte House looks interesting. Like a better Black Hole, triple play field, great music.

Teed Off one of the better Premier tables iirc. Also good music, it's a DMD so people should be happy with it.

I'm worried about what they are going to pack 8-Ball with. I feel like Victory, Ace High, El Dorado are too weak to pack with a no multiball, early 80s even if it is a classic. I also feel like we've had far too many 80s tables too close together (Centaur, F2K, Goin Nuts, Haunted House).

A little OT. I hope the next 3 tables are strong because IMO with the exception of Sorcerer, the last remaining Gotliebs suck outside of Ace High (which is an EM which isn't for everyone).

Also a little OT: who thinks Farsight will Start doing 1-Table packs going forward? I think that's why they are getting the early 80s out, because they know they can't sell these by themselves. After 8-Ball I think it's going to be a long, long time before they do another 80s.

Would also explain why we're not seeing Roller Coaster Tycoon, Road Show, Tales from the Crypt despite rumors. I believe these will be standalone 4.99 tables, but w/o kick starters obviously. I also think we're going to see a huge string of DMD standalones next year. Fish Tales, Monopoly, Junk Yard, Who Dunnit, Judge Dredd, Black Rose, No Fear, Jack*Bot, Getaway, Safe Cracker, Indy 500, Party Zone, Hurricane, Dracula, RCT... Honestly that would be a sick year of releases. And I also predict the next 3-4 will be F-14, High Speed, 8-Ball, and EarthShaker. Why? Cause I want to see more system 11s but I feel a S11 by itself is a hard sell.

I wanted to talk about this stuff but don't feel like opening dedicate threads.

El Dorado is a fun pin. It's a form of drop target heaven. I put a couple quarters into at PHOF in Vegas a couple weeks ago, and considering there were a ton of pins I didn't get to play because I had limited time, the fact that I put more than one quarter in it means it was pretty fun.

That's good to hear.

8-Ball Deluxe and El Dorado, or Sorcerer would balance out. At least for me. 8-Ball has a huge following bigger than Centaur IMO (despite narrowly losing the poll) and definitely way more popular than F2K so I shouldn't worry what it's packed with now that I think about it.

What do you guys think of an all DMD standalone DLC for 2014?

Has there ever been any confirmation or something that, once they're done with the re-releases, they'll only do one table release per month? If so, honestly, that'd suck.

If it was all DMD I'd definitely be happy. Anything would suffice with no more EM's and no more turds in the punchbowl like GN.

We're unlikely to get a double DMD pack again. None of the remaining re-releases are DMDs, and when they start to make two new tables a month, it's unlikely to be two DMDs as I'd assume the DMD tables are more complex to develop. Right now we've actually only been getting a rate of around 1 DMD per 4 tables.

Again? Did I miss something here? To the best of my knowledge, FS haven't yet done a double DMD pack...

There's no reason to think that. They spend just as much time with the re-releases as they do with the new ones. They aquire the table, strip it down and do all of the stuff that they do with a new table.

I think people at FS have said that the length of time to develop doesn't change based on DMD or no DMD.

I don't believe any of this.
