Table pack #39 speculation

Yes, people have been crying wolf on Getaway for too long. It's been "confirmed" for like every table from #28 on up. Not believing it. Leaked files just mean they started a bit of work, not that it's nailed down for anything.

A top DMD (most likely Getaway or Road Show or Safecracker) makes more sense for #40 and not #39. You want to end the season with the best available like BSD, to drive season sales on platforms that have to wait for a full season. But you also don't want an old table for #39 adjacent to Xenon. So I say #39 will be either a System 11 (Banzai Run might be the leading candidate as a sys11 to get excited over), or a Gottlieb/Premier DMD.

All those other "leaked" tables have made it to S4 though - Party Zone, Earthshaker, Starship Troopers, and TAF.

I'm not ruling out FS making a quiet deal to allow a few more licenses to get done, there's precedent obviously. I still think if Getaway isn't #39, then it will definitely be #40. Kick off S5 with a bang too - S4 was weird in that it was still in "Halloween" mode (I wish they'd stop that) and they started with POTO.

But exactly in the order they appeared in the leaked list (if I remember right). The Getaway failed to appear where the list claimed it would. undoubtedly it will appear at some point, but I don't think we can say it will "definitely" appear in a certain table pack as it's clearly been delayed from the original plan.

Instead of an LCA type surprise, maybe they worked out a licensing miracle, it will be the Data East StarWars, then Getaway for 40. The Sega StarWars Trilogy to start season 5, with Indy also in season 5. The more StarWars merch the better to draw attention to the new movie. Maybe Harrison Ford bet them they couldn't sit through Kingdom of the Crystal Skull and lost, giving them likeness rights . Who would be brave enough to endure the flick idk. Also don't know if syt would be excited by this

TAF wasn't leaked. It had a successful kickstarter and was announced by FarSight to be released in February.
