I do camera three and shut off camera moves. this actually slows the ball appreciably because you have a fixed view of the table and can focus on ball trajectory better. my scores have vastly improved.
Maybe it depends of the version, but on PS3, I play tables like HH and F2K with the camera 5 (yes, camera 5, the lowest angle) and with camera moves on. I just blown up my highscores by doing that (currently 22nd and ~50th).
I don't know why, but with Camera 5, it's easier to track the ball and SDTM happen a lot less. Otherwise, I play all others tables with camera 2, camera moves off.
