The LEAST popular table you want to come to The Pinball Arcade

There is no shortage of threads and posts in these fora on which tables you'd most like to see come to The Pinball Arcade. But, most of the requested tables are well known and very popular. A lot of people champion the high-cost, high-profile, Kickstarter-required licensed tables (The Addams Family, Lord Of The Rings, Indiana Jones, The Simpsons Pinball Party, Family Guy, etc.). Another cohort touts the merits of the popular, lower-license-cost tables (High Speed I & II, Fish Tales, Black Knight 2000, Black Rose, Earthshaker, Eight Ball Deluxe, Red & Ted's Roadshow, etc.). PinWiz's terrific suite of polls details a lot of these.

My question is, "What unpopular, unloved, or obscure table or tables would you most want to see come to The Pinball Arcade?" Sure, it may not be likely to be added because there is no buzz about the table, or it's ranked very low on ipdb.org, or maybe few have even heard of it. But, for some reason you discovered the table, really enjoyed it, and wish that against all odds, FarSight would add that table to The Pinball Arcade.

Mine would be Riverboat Gambler. The table is an early 1990's Williams table. It was released before the DMD era. It's ranked an exceedingly modest #277 on ipdb.org. Its ruleset is fairly simple. And it relies too heavily on picking a color on a spinning roulette wheel during the gameplay. But for some reason, I find the table charming. I've always loved gambling/casino themed tables, and the bowling alley across the street from my college apartment had one of these next to their Whirlwind. Spent a lot of quarters in both of those two back in those days.

No way in hell FarSight would prioritize Riverboat Gamber, but I'd love it if one day in Season Number, oh, I don't know, 14 or so, if FarSight's still at it, that Riverboat Gambler finds its way to The Pinball Arcade. Of course, there are a whole raft of tables (most notably High Speed) that I advocate and call for inclusion in The Pinball Arcade far before Riverboat Gambler. But, I've always had a strange soft spot for this one.

Any table like that for you?

Torch from 197x. Despite not liking Gottlieb-tables very much, this one I would like to see out of pure nostalgia. We used to have this table at home when I was a kid, and for being such an early table it has a cool feature with a spinning wheel affecting the bonus.

The punch line of many jokes around here, drumroll please, Evel Knievel. Yes, I love it. Played it tons as a kid. (My honorable mention would be Bad Cats)

PS - I dig Riverboat Gambler too.

Rollergames - an underrated Steve Ritchie masterpiece. Especially hated for its backglass:

But it's very fast and fun, albeit a little simple.

Oh no! The return of the cheetahmen!

At least the butt of that girl is nicely rendered  The logo is pretty awesome, though.

The only thing I know about this table is that the guys who made Pro Pinball copied the "don´t flip - FLIP!" mechanic for the "The Ancients Beckon"-table for the Nintendo DSi.

I would like Big Guns, because there is one at a nearby arcade and I really enjoy it. Another one I would like is the EM version of Spirit of '76. I have it on the Microsoft Pinball Arcade and I find it really addictive! Oh, and btw, I love Pinball Pulse: The Ancients Beckon. It's one of my most favorite pinball games of all time!

Good news.... They didn't create the NES version, it was well known for being a disaster. The Genesis version was much better recieved.

Jack*Bot. I have a soft spot for that one even though it's near the bottom of 90's Williams popularity. It was in my college's game room and where I first started getting good at pinball. And it should be pretty easy to do given that Pin*Bot is already modeled.

Heh, posted this then I see there's another thread for Jack*Bot right next door. :)

The only thing I know about this table is that the guys who made Pro Pinball copied the "don´t flip - FLIP!" mechanic for the "The Ancients Beckon"-table for the Nintendo DSi.

Pro Pinball The Web had the magnet-assisted flip mechanic in 1996, long before Ancients Beckon.

Not sure how the word at large views it but I'd love to see Strat-o-Flite released. We had one in our basement when I was a kid and I'd love to have it in TPA. I'm sure pretty much nobody else would agree with me :)

I'd like to see Flipper Football - another timer based game
Maybe a head to head game like Joust
I really like that modernist art style and the minimal playfields late 70s Ems like Capersville or The Wiggler

Totally second Stars
Interflip's Dragon would probably be an impossibility. IDK what it is but this game just looks like a blast

No Fear doesn't seem to get the love it deserves, or maybe I've overlooked it. It's such a fast and fun table.
