you are right Wolfson, and thats just a guy imitating him while wearing a blindfold. some smartass said "now do it backwards with blindfold and earplugs". Frank Zappa actually did make Steve play some song backwards, which Steve did successfully.

here is my favorite song with Steve Vai on guitar. amazing tapping in the solo.
