we were lucky in the 1970s , the bands we watched played in pubs , Cold Chissel was the band we all loved to watch , they use to get pissed on stage and they were wild . I got into the Playroom at Tallebudgera on the Gold Coast as a 17 year old , had a great time and I got pissed . the pub scene was fantastic . not many places left now for bands . I`m so glad I saw a lot of the bands . in the 1980s I lived in Murwillumbah , small town , plenty of pubs and bands every week . the kids today will never see what we had . now it`s just sweet memories .
