I figure that most of us on here are not only fans of pinball in its digital form but the real deal as well. In the past year or so I got into listening to podcasts on my ipod. Whether when I'm driving, cutting the grass, doing housework, etc. These were mostly gaming related. Recently I discovered The Pinball Podcast (thepinballpodcast.com). Its two guys out in the Denver, Colorado area who do a monthly show talking about pinball. Well, I think at least one of them is from that area but that's inconsequential. They've been doing the show since last fall and have just posted their 9th episode. Each episode lasts about an hour and a half or so and it's fairly well structured. They talk about the latest news in the pinball world. For example, in this last episode they talked about Wizard of Oz and Stern's new X-Men. They also discuss mods and tech talk. In each episode they usually feature a table of the month in which they talk about its creation, features, rarity and price. The Pinball Podcast has also given favorable reviews to The Pinball Arcade in one of its episodes and did promote the Twilight Zone Kickstarter when it was going on.
I admit that I was a little leery of trying a new podcast because my week is usually filled with Epic Battle Axe and Invisible Walls Podcasts that I didn't really need another. However, being that they only do it once a month gives plenty of time for new info and nicely packed episodes. While they aren't as funny (or raunchy) as the dudes from the aforementioned gaming podcasts I highly recommend giving an episode a listen. I simply downloaded the first one from itunes, liked it, and downloaded the rest to play at my leisure. You can also listen and download them from their website as well.
