Why is this girl traveling to the US of A for medical care?

Our government passed federal income tax cuts for every single tax payer. Obviously, your specific situation will dictate the final amount of the cut, but we all got them.
trash , because the trial drug is at North Caolina , we don`t have it . we don`t normally get drugs that are on trial , once they come out , our government steps in to help . I hope that helps . and in Australia even if you don`t have cover we get it usually free . I`ll give you my case . 9 years ago , I had throat cancer from too many ciggies . I had no cover , 35 lots of radiation and 3 lots of chemo and I was sick for about 3 weeks in hospital , total cost for me in the Public Hospital $ 00 . that was over 7 weeks for all the treatment . in other words even if your living on the street with no cover , and you have a life threatning situation our government steps in .

Here is something that doesn't get mentioned on the regular news. Here in America if you go to a hospital emergency room seeking care, they are legally not permitted to turn you away. This includes those of questionable citizenship and those that have no way of paying for the care.

When you finally check out of the hospital, and if you have insurance, you will receive a bill showing you what your insurance covered and what amount is still your out-of-pocket responsibility. Now here is the part many people don't hear about. You never have to pay this off. As long as you set up a good faith payment agreement of at least $1.00 a month and then follow through and make this payment to the hospital (which is now your creditor) for the duration (i.e. till death) no one will sue you or anything else.

One of the growing trends we have over here due to how our hospitals provide care is we see people no longer visit family care doctors and specialists, they just go right to the hospital and use a fake name and no ID. And walk out with a filled script for antibiotics or painkillers.

Sad really... but I guess most people will always choose the path of least resistance when it comes to their health care.

Is this a troll post?

People that voice an opinion about politics outside of their own country/county/city/HOA are usually misinformed and completely miss nuance and context. Anyone that lives in the US of A and is a constituent of AOC will probably not be voting for her again, and the funny thing is, they probably didn't even vote for her the first time. AOC won a primary with 11,000 votes in a district of 235,000 registered democrat voters, and the total number of votes cast in this primary was only 28,000.

Anyway... AOC isn't a problem or solution to our political ills over here, as you can see by the numbers above, it is us, the common person that is the problem. We just don't collectively really care that much about the clown show going on in our State and Federal houses.
trash I get it , I know a lot of you don`t vote , see here wether it`s local , state or federal elections we all vote , it`s mandatory here .

I`ll tell you how I vote . in the House I usually vote Labor then Greens , Liberal and last I put the racist scum . in the Senate I voted the Hemp Party , the Fisherman`s Party then Greens then the rest . we learnt a long time ago , if a party owns the House and the Senate they screw us over . we might seem like we don`t give a crap but we do care . and if they do something that doesn`t pass the sniff test at the pub , the government will hear about it . like at Xmas time Skomo wanted to cut some funding to the Food Bank , well didn`t he cop crap from everyone , the corporate side , churches , media and every man woman and dog . changed his mind within 24 hours .

This literally is gibberish to me. I don't follow Australian politics and I have no idea what each party represents. And I don't think any country on this earth can correlate to the mainly two-party system of the US of A due to how this country was founded, and the cherished and constitutional rights we have that continue to foster individualism and a can do anything if you just work hard enough spirit.

I do watch Masterchef Australia since it is by far the best Masterchef in the World, and I will catch a few Aussie rules matches here and there when I am up and about at 3am. I used to watch the V8 cars, but at some point a few years ago it become pretty boring and so for my auto fix I generally stick to World Rally and BTCC.

Here is an on/off topic question for you. How is Arthur Calwell and the history of the White European Australia policy viewed in today's climate?

So am I, but I am also talking about partial insurance cover too. And this is handled at the hospital level, and it doesn't need to be life threatening. You could go in with the a low grade fever and the sniffles and get care that you don't ever have to pay for. Though you could argue that all medical care costs are inflated to cover this leakage.

Also, if you think your government provided medical care is free, should I assume you don't pay any sort of taxes on anything? Keep in mind, YOU fund the government, they don't magically make public revenue appear out of the sky. Free... no such thing.

So let me get this straight. You guys are required by law to vote, but you also pride yourselves in not being educated about your constitution. And based on these clips you have posted, it seems that no one has a clue about anything. I think I might actually prefer our voting system that results in 25% turnout.

Had fun replacing the old sump pump today.

Sure am glad both the new pump and the hose didn't have the adapter I needed.
