OK, I really thought this one was right across the plate, but I apparently am terribad at giving clues, so here's another one to help you along: the villain I have in mind hails from Hollywood, CA.
I'd say Super Macho Man from Punch-Out!, as he does have a spinning punch and is from Hollywood, but I freely admit I have no idea how that connects to the "Release the BOGUS!" clue.It seems I've once again misjudged how easy my clues were, but maybe this one will make things a bit clearer: the villain I have in mind is known for his dangerous spin punches.
