You know what the most irritating thing is? All this fighting over these three Bally games and Fathom is still sitting there...un-digitized.

You mean un-digitized by Farsight, bcs it's digitized in another simulator.
It's same like Sea Witch and Sorcerer, everyone wants those tables but Farsight doesn't care. They rather release tables like Starship Troopers that nobody asked for.

Dear Farsight, I mentioned in my first post I ever listed which is above that this second poll was a lousy way to do business. After coming back to see where the votes stand, im absolutely blown away with the ineptitude your company (Mike Lindsay) have in Marketing, Communications, and Public Relations. I dont realy care at this point which machine wins. I amazed with you pitting your customer base against one another and allowing a sophmoric forum like this to influence your business decissions. Despite making a great simulation, you need to recruit some talented folks with business sense who can involve their client base in a professional way. Absolutely didgraceful.

It is fine for you to have criticism of FarSight. You may criticize this forum (though that's a sure way to get the 4700 members to react negatively toward you). You may make all the business suggestions you want, though without knowing the numbers or reasoning, you hardly speak from a place of authority. What we moderators do request though, is to not single out FarSight employees. Mike communicates to us what his bosses have communicated to him. We enjoy having FarSight employees participate in these forums, and do not need to make them feel like they are personally not welcome.

Because at the end of the day, I would much rather communicate with them, than someone with 2 posts that are nothing but complaints.

I have never heard them mention owning the Atari rights. If those were scooped up by Gottlieb or Stern in a previous deal like Data East and Sega were by Stern, then yes they could do them.

I watched all the videos..I really hope Xenon makes it.The other 2 look nice but Xenon i know i would play more . But i agree i think F.S. should do a 2 pack with these two tables....By the way why was Spirit not on this poll??And no offence to anybody but Xenon did win and this is kind of cruel to us Xenon fans who all ready won...and now to find out that you may have lost.What is going on are we in Florida it feels like we are going threw that Bush/Gore recount again...XENON WON

Actually, quite a few folks wanted Starship Troopers... or so it seemed at the point in time folks were still screaming for Addams Family.

I'm frankly surprised you jumped in on my comment rather than some of the other stuff hurled around above but presume that's because I mentioned a FarSight employee (Mike Lindsay) above. The way I see it is that in post number 1 he was mentioned as THE ONE wanting another poll. Therefore he is the face of FarSite and ultimately the one holding the bag on this "second poll debacle". His bosses were not mentioned, the 4,700 member community was not mentioned, it was him. Second, I have a little more "authority" than you may think. I've bought every product and followed all the posts, on Facebook, and everywhere else there is mention of Pinball Arcade from day one. The product is good, but the number of bugs, communications with customers, relationship with vendors, especially Apple, resolution of problems, and rollouts on platforms is atrocious! Maybe it's time Farsight listen to the hard truth of what their customers are saying. They need someone with communication skills, never mind a project manager who can see a product delivered on time without a million bugs. Frankly, I wish some company that doesn't act like a college frat house would come along, develop these machines, all of them, and release them without them without trying to create this BS mystique every month. Bottom line is developing pinball sims is no longer rocket science - there a billion people in India that could do it for $1.50 an hour! So get over yourself!

I played a Superman recently. Not sure it was tuned right. It played really slow. But for it's time it looked cool. And if it had played faster it would be fun. Was the Hulk a Gottlieb or an Atari table? Out of all the old school superhero pins, I think the one I'd want the most is Spider-Man.

So you think the solution to your perceived problem is going on a jihad on a fan run forum for a niche digital pinball game? No one is forcing you to buy tables and no one is mandating you participate in something you clearly have disdain for. Why would you want to ruin it for everyone else?

I don't mind a second vote, this was a weird one because some people think Xenon didn't qualify and even though it was winning it was still only like 35% of the total votes between all the tables. A second poll either determines which table the "lost votes" (like mine on C37) support, or if Xenon wins then it eliminates grounds to complain about an unfair entry from people who didn't think it should have been in the first one. Far from dirty pool, I don't see another fair way to keep it a contender and also satisfy complaints it didn't qualify as pre-1980.

That said, in the interests of consistency future polls might do to follow this model (re: Flight 2000 vs Seawitch earlier). That way at least everybody knows what wins is the strongest contender, and never one that just squeaked by because 1/3 of the votes wanted it more than the other 2/3 scattered between it's nine friends or something.

meh.......... what's the point? We all know that it's gonna be xenon. But I [woted for paragon. Xenon is great but it simply does not belong among those so I'll rather see something that does look and feel like pre 1980 game. Are we really going to waste one true opportunity to get older game on something that is highly requested and likely to happen anyway?

to all the future voters, please, vote for paragon even if you have your own favourite since all the others have no chance and xenon really shouldn't win this one.
