Trapdoor question

I am curious if it also happens on the real machine that if you let a ball that gets released from the trap door drop onto the right flipper (in up position), it goes directly into the right outlane. Somehow I would expect it to go into the inlane but maybe it is intentional mischief.

I know this doesn't answer your question but I usually let it bounce off right flipper then catch with left. It's quite safe and gives control of ball.
