Notes from the Twitchsteam. Fireball looked really nice. I'm looking forward to playing it as its always one of the tables I keep finding myself going back to at expos - also hoping it gets enough positive buzz to consider Fireball II which I really liked too (unique straight down the middle ball save feature). El Dorado looked pretty decent too although Target Alpha would have been a better choice (ok enough ranting about that fact). It certainly looks to play more like an EM with more floaty ball movement where City of Gold is a speed demon. There was an interesting tidbit about the ball movement which indicates Farsight may not have final say in how their tables actually play. So on with my recap notes: - Acknowledged Kickstarter is going slow - They mentioned they have been contacting all the news outlets they can to get word of the Kickstarter out - Still confident Kickstarter will pass - In that vein they are working on additional perks for the Kickstarter - "Tales From The Crypt is more likely than Jurrassic Park" - They tried to make Fireball table as "floaty" as allowed - Gottlieb license has restrictions on how "floaty" table can be - Gottlieb reviews tables and provides feedback if table is ok - iOS release will likely be delayed. There is a chance it will not but sounds small - "Point of the Stern App is that its going to have the new tables" - Can't mention [yet] what platforms Stern App will be on - Dr Who custom balls will be of similar quality to Adams Family custom balls - The possibility of BBB got shot down a bit. Brought up the rating but also sounded like they didn't have the Capcom license. I couldn't quite catch exactly what was being said there I'm surprised at the Gottlieb influence on table physics. Wonder if the other licenses have similar restrictions.
