Two player question

Hi all, I have a question and wasn't able to find out by looking around so far. I'm just wondering what two player is like over XBLA. Can you watch your friend play when it's their turn, and vice versa? Me and my friends weren't real happy with the weird arrangement in Pinball FX where you basically can only see some kind of progress bar towards a score goal. I'd rather it just be like you're hanging out taking turns on the machine, and maybe you can pick up some tips and tricks by seeing how your friend plays. Thanks in advance for the info!

There is no online multiplayer at this point. I think they said it was something they wanted to add at some point though.
