Well... do I watch Princess Bride with my family, continue my DA2 playthrough to get ready for Inquisition Tuesday, or play TPZ on TPA? Decisions decisions....

Why is POTO still too bright? I mean seriously, does FarSight not see that? Yes, it's the first thing I looked at. Not Party Zone. THIS. Is this really not a concern? Does FS really not care? Geezus! Fine. Whatever.

It's simple. Fixing old tables is a waste of resources and doesn't bring $. Only pumping a new table each month "puts food on the table". I have zero hope for the future. Even when dx11 comes (2016) it will only make things look shiny but the bugs will still be there.

Fixing stuff is hard and with over 50 tables thing are piling up. Ain't nobody got time for that.

Old tables? POTO was the last table released before TPZ. For gawds sake, this issue was revealed the moment it was released. So once FS unleashes it, that's it??? Their hands are tied? There's nothing they can do? They don't have the manpower to dim the lights???

BTW, this anger is coming from a lifelong fan that's been buying FS tables since the Xbox. I'm also an iOS beta tester. For over 2 years I've been reading all the vitriol and hatred towards FS for their lack of quality, resources, and business acumen. I've been letting all that slide due to the fact that I see them trying. But now this. This ultimately tells me that they're done trying.

You're right p6800. With 50+ tables, I advise that NOBODY hold their breath for ROM emulation ever coming to the old tables. We can't even get a light fix on a table that's less than 30 days old.

I'm out. I'm done. I'm gonna start hacking their leaderboards and trolling their kickstarters. FS just keeps giving out the ammunition.

Not being a programmer or understanding that world, I have a question. say there's a bug on POTO do they need to fix it once and apply it to all platforms or do they need to fix it separately for each platform?

I dont get why Season 4 tables arent being released in DX11 seeing as they are being built from scratch anyway.

Fungi, I know how bad the lighting is for POTO. The brightness hurts my eyes, even when I turn my brightness and contrast to the lowest setting. Please hold out just a little hope Fungi. Remember they did fix the bump in the orbit of AFM and it's, I think, your favorite TPA table.

It is, but that was a season 1 table. Back when they had half the tables they have now. Back when they were still trying to impress us. There're too many tables now for them to bother, and I'm thinking the FS staff has changed a bit. I used to trust FS. My trust has faltered with this new crew.

Back when we all complained about BK2K's brightness on the iOS, within a week, us testers were asked where the brightness should be. We answered. It was fixed. Are the PC programmers not up to this? BTW, we were given a range of numbers of 1 - 10 for the brightness setting. For this to happen on the PC, is it billions of lines of code instead? Also, POTO has GI lighting FX on the real table. After what FS accomplished with High Speed, that should've happened with POTO as well. Was it too much trouble for them to bother with that WHILE they were working on it? Did the table become "old" before it was even released? Aaaaaaack! Angry!

That being said, TPZ came out pretty well. DOESN'T MEAN YOU CAN SLACK OFF FARSIGHT!

well if you want sight of a recent fix..check out BSD in portrait camera 4..night and day difference..so somethings are addressed, just not as quick as we'd like.
I do agree POTO is to bright by default..I've assumed it was in prep for Dx11 honestly but who can say.

Maybe I am just imagining it but pinball arcade seems to be playing super fluid and smooth(different), was there an update to the graphics or something?

I noticed 2 very annoying things on TPZ, when trying to get the skillshot, the ball is too slow to hit the pop lights above the bumpers but it gets sucked to it. Please Far Sigh, turn off those damn Vacuum cleaners in your physics, there is no dust for them to collect.

The 2nd thing is something that could be just fine but I haven't played the real table. most of the time when you hit that request spot in front of that talking dude the ball just bounces off and leaves down the middle when kicked out of there. It is very hard and most of the times impossible to save the ball with the flippers.

EDIT: I guess I should just practice a bit more, it is hard but if fast enough it can be hit, still it seems a bit too hard to me.

Some of us have been sounding similar alarms about TPA quality control. I'm beginning to think that nothing short of a takeover of FarSight is going to change the way things are with TPA.

At least they didn't take 2 years (and counting) to bring out ONE table, like those Timeshock dudes are.

These are my dream updates for TPA:

Complete overhaul of the physics engine to include ball spin and generally to make the game play more realistically.

A user controlled static camera that can be saved for each table, complete with pan, tilt, and zoom.

An upgraded lighting system, similar to the PS4 quality, but with a slider that can adjust the room brightness from very bright to totally dark.

Fix the blurry image quality with many of the older tables.

Allow any changes in the pro version's operator's menu that don't impact game play to still be eligible for high score registry.

Add tournament play and user created tournaments with a few basic rules; like number of balls, time limit, no extra balls, etc.
